This treatment uses Cedarwood and Cypress Pine oils. I used this when I was transitioning and had a bad case of dandruff from my scalp changing. It is very important to use the right kind of Cedarwood EO. Use only Cedarwood from Cedrus Atlantica (Atlas Cedarwood). The other types of cedarwood varieties do not do the job as well, if at all.
This treatment smells woody and may be more attractive to men than women because of the strong scent. But it works for everyone and if your dandruff is really bad, then give it a try.
INGREDIENTS
6 Drops Atlas Cedarwood EO
4 Drops Cypress EO
6 Drops Rosemary EO
1 ½ oz (50ml) Virgin Olive Oil
METHOD
- Mix everything together and massage gently into the scalp.
- Cover your head with a shower cap or towel to prevent oil leaking onto your pillows. Be aware in the morning, your pillows will have the scent of the EO.
- I don’t advise using any kind of plastic wrap on your head overnight.
- In the morning, shampoo out and follow with a rich conditioner.
